Essential Evidence CME Program

ALL DAY FRIDAY 7/18

“I love the Essential Evidence format - this is so relevant for family medicine really covering what I do every day and focused on benefits for patients.” - Past Annual Convention Attendee

The Essential Evidence program is a unique CME course that uses abstracts of recent literature as the substrate. Each 30-minute talk is a rapid fire review of recent research studies about a particular topic with time for Q&A at the end of each presentation.

The faculty will provide an engaging analysis of the most important research publications. They will present and critically appraise new research evidence and meta-analyses that will either change your practice or confirm that your current approaches are supported by solid evidence from randomized trials and other high quality studies.

This year we will welcome Henry Barry, MD; Gary Ferenchick, MD; and Kate Rowland, MD, who will cover these topics:

  • Musculoskeletal Update
  • Screening and Prevention
  • Top 20 POEMs of 2024
  • Hypertension
  • Headache/neurology update
  • Pneumonia influenza
  • Guidelines We Can Trust
  • Depression and Anxiety
