2025 IAFP Research Day

  • Thursday, May 15, 2025

  • Agenda will run from approx. 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM (exact agenda times will depend on number of abstracts submitted and accepted for presentation)

  • Location: Ritz Charles Ballrooms | 12156 N Meridian St, Carmel, IN 46032

At the IAFP's annual Research Day event, family physicians present Original Research and Performance Improvement projects, as well as interesting case reports of relevance to a family medicine audience. All IAFP members are invited to take part including student, resident, active, and life members.

During lunch, the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians Foundation will present the Deeda Ferree Memorial Resident Leadership Development Seminar, a fast-paced, interactive adventure in leadership development presented by IAFP leaders and designed to give you practical skills to boost your leadership abilities for residency and beyond.

We are now accepting abstracts for the 2025 IAFP Research Day. All IAFP members are invited to take part: student, resident, active, and life members.

Your abstract should describe an original work in one of the following categories:

  • Original Research (example: Comparison of Selected Measures Between Group Prenatal Care and Traditional Prenatal Care in a Residency Setting)

  • Performance Improvement (example: Study Implementing New Clinical Work Flow - Well Child Quality Improvement Project)

  • Case Report

  • Previously Presented or Work in Progress
    - This category is for presentations in categories 1-3 that have already been presented at a national meeting or prior IAFP Research Day
    - Work that is not completed by the abstract submission deadline may still be considered for a poster presentation
